2025/2026 Scholarship Program
We are proud to support the academic goals of our members through the HTFFFCU Scholarship Program. This year, we are awarding 6 $1,500 scholarships to eligible members pursuing higher education. Recipients will receive $750 for the fall semester and $750 for the spring semester, payable directly to their school.
Applications are open to high school seniors or current and former college students who meet the eligibility criteria. To qualify, you must be an HTFFFCU member in good standing for at least 180 days (join by June 30, 2025), and not a previous scholarship recipient.
Meet the 2025 Scholarship Program Recipients
ALLISON PHILLIPS
Allison Phillips will be attending Texas A&M University, where she plans to major in education. As an aspiring educator with a passion for leadership, she is driven by a deep desire to make a positive impact on her students' lives, nurturing and inspiring young minds. Allison is enthusiastic about developing innovative teaching strategies and fostering a supportive classroom environment.
CAMRYN KELLY
Camryn Kelly is currently studying civil engineering at Texas A&M University. She aspires to become a Municipal Engineer and is passionate about improving communities through sustainable infrastructure development. Dedicated to finding innovative solutions for nonprofits that support the construction of ADA-compliant homes for veterans and first responders. Her education equips her with the skills necessary to make a positive impact in this field.
JACE FLORA
MILINA SANTIAGO
Milina Santiago is a student at the University of Houston, majoring in Exercise Science. Since sixth grade, she has had a passion for helping people and making a lasting impact on their lives. In addition to her current studies and with the guidance of her grandmother, Milina plans to attend law school to become a malpractice attorney, aiming to combine her academic background with her commitment to assisting others. Ultimately, she strives to make a lasting impact on the lives of those she serves.
SARAH BARRETT
Sarah Barrett is a dedicated student attending the University of Houston, where she is pursuing a major in Business. Eager to explore the dynamic landscape of career opportunities, she is currently evaluating several potential paths that align with her interests and strengths. Recognizing the importance of a solid educational foundation, Sarah is committed to deeply understanding core business principles. By developing these essential skills, she aims to position herself as a versatile professional capable of adapting to various roles across multiple industries. This strategic approach not only prepares her for immediate career opportunities but also equips her with the tools to thrive in an ever-evolving job market.
TAYLOR MCCURDY
Taylor McCurdy is a motivated incoming student at McMurry University, where she plans to major in Exercise Science. With a strong passion for health and rehabilitation, she aspires to become a compassionate and skilled physical therapist. Her goal is to help the elderly regain their strength and mobility, improving their daily lives. She also wants to help athletes recover from injuries and support them as they return to their favorite sports. Taylor aims to make a positive impact on the lives of those she helps, enhancing their mobility and overall well-being.
