Brian McLeroy III
Chairman
Brian McLeroy III has served on the Board of HTFFFCU for over 20 years. He retired from the Houston Fire Department after 40 years of service.
When asked what motivated him as a volunteer, he stated, “I enjoying giving back and being a part of the Credit Union Family.”
Bruce Koger
Vice Chairman
Bruce Koger served on the Supervisory Committee for over 10 years. He retired as Chief Arson Investigator from the Houston Fire Department after 24 years of service.
He has held a Private Investigators License since 1995 and hopes that his background as an investigator is an asset to our organization.
Jerry E. Walker
Secretary
Jerry E. Walker has been on the Board for over 36 years. He retired from the Houston Fire Department with 40 years of service.
When asked what motivated him as a volunteer, he stated, "To help provide the members with the best services and products possible."
G.W. North
Treasurer
G.W. "Skip" North has served on the Board of HTFFFCU for over 34 years. He retired from the Houston Fire Department after 42 years of service.
When asked what motivated him as a volunteer, he stated, "I have been a member of the Houston Fire Fighters Federal Credit Union since 1967. I wanted to see the organization grow and provide the financial services its members needed to succeed."
Dwight Boykins
Director
Dwight Boykins earned his BB in Marketing from Texas Southern University. He has financial services experience including working at HTFFFCU as Marketing Director, a position that formed the foundation of his strong relationship with firefighters. He was elected as a member of the Houston City Council and serves on various committees.
Phil Cemino
Director
Phil Cemino has been a member of the credit union for over 48 years. He is a retired District Chief of the Houston Fire Department with over 40 years of service. After retiring from his own business of 35 years, he enjoys volunteering and giving back to HTFFFCU and serving our firefighter family.
Philip Malek
Director
Philip Malek has been a member of the credit union since 1988. He is currently working as a Senior HR Specialist in the City of Houston recruiting firefighters and helping them ease into their new roles. He is also one of the founding fathers of Kappa Pi Theta, a fraternity that was created by military veterans.
Rick Flanagan
Director
Rick Flanagan has served on the Board of HTFFFCU for over 8 years. He retired from the Houston Fire Department after 34 years of service. During his years of service within the fire department, he has held a variety of positions and enjoyed serving the citizens of Houston.
When asked what motivated him as a volunteer, he stated, “As a Board Member of the Credit Union, I’ve been excited to have played a small role in the success of this outstanding organization, and the value that it offers to you, the members and your family.”
David Lantrip
Director
David Lantrip has been a member of the Board since 2009. He is a retired captain and EMS Supervisor from the Houston Fire Department, serving for 40 years and owner of Pestaway Exterminating Company.
David currently serves on various boards including the National Council of Firefighters Credit Unions, Houston Retired Firefighters Association and is board president for the "Relationship for Christ" Ministries, Project Samuel, where they have two orphanages in Africa and Nicaragua. He is actively involved in his church and community and his hobbies include hunting, fishing and traveling.
When asked what motivated him as a volunteer, he stated, "To be of service to our members and help see that the HTFFFCU is the best it can be in providing the services our members expect and deserve!"
