Shared Branching Reminders
Here are a few reminders when using a participating Shared Branch:

• Have a valid driver's license available.
• You will need your credit union's full name [Houston Texas Fire Fighters Federal Credit Union] and account number.
• All deposits are subject to a hold - 2 business days for a local check and 5 business days for a non-local check. Read more...

Servicemembers Civil Relief
The law requires financial institutions to lower the interest rates on all loans (including Mastercard) to 6% when a member is called to active duty. HTFFFCU lowers rates to 4%. We also advance loan due dates by 2 months. In order take advantage of these benefits, a member must provide two things:

1. A written notice of their intent to invoke the 4% interest rate.

2. Copies of their military orders showing the date they will be shipping out and the date of return.

Please note: The relief shall terminate on the date of discharge or release from such service.
