Your Credit Union Needs You

The Houston Texas Fire Fighters Federal Credit Union’s Nominating Committee has nominated the following members as candidates for the 2 open positions for the 2010 Board Elections.

Roger Campbell - I'm asking for your continued support for re-election to the Board of Directors of Your Credit Union. I have and will continue to make sure our Credit Union stays financially sound and at the same time, offer rates, both loan and savings, comparative with other financial institutions. I am retired after serving 36 years with HFD.

Rick Flanagan - Executive Assistant Chief, 29 years of dedicated service to HFD. Currently manages Logistics Command including OEC, Communications management, and Fire and EMS Records. Successfully initiated many community education programs. Earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. He holds training certifications including HCC instructor, Arson investigation, and Criminal Justice.

If the Houston Texas Fire Fighters Federal Credit Union Nominating Committee did not nominate you, you may still be placed on the ballot by providing a petition containing 1% or more of the signatures of HTFFFCU members.

Each nominee by petition shall submit a written statement of qualifications and biographical data and a signed certificate stating they are agreeable to nomination and will serve if elected with the signed petition. The nominating committee must receive these forms no later than Monday, February 8, 2010.

Requirements:

• The petition must contain at least 165 signatures of the eligible voting membership, who are at least 18 years old.
  
• Petitions are required to include the member’s name, printed and signed, and member number.
  
• All signatures and member numbers will be verified; if one or more of these requirements is not legible or is skipped, the petition will not be valid.

Petition forms are available at the main office (see Kelli Baker). There will be no nominations from the floor accepted on the day of the annual meeting.
